Mai Anh Tran’s research aims to explore the economic and managerial dynamics that can help or hinder biomedical innovation. From her time in industry &amp; academia, Mai Anh has worked with a wide range of public &amp; propriety datasets, examples including massive claims datasets, patient prescribing data, and IP data. She earned a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University in 2020 as a Freeman Asian Scholar. Upon graduation, she joined NERA Economics Consulting in the Life Sciences practice in Washington, DC. After NERA, she worked as a research assistant at Yale University with Professor Zack Cooper studying questions related to industrial organization and health economics.
