#  Nolan Kavanagh

Nolan M. Kavanagh is an M.D./Ph.D. student, completing his M.D. at the University of Pennsylvania and Ph.D. at Harvard University. He graduated from the University of Michigan with his B.S. in biochemistry and Spanish and his M.P.H. in health behavior and health education. He has spent time working in behavioral counseling, legislative advocacy, and government communications. His research examines how health and social policy shape political preferences and behaviors, as well as how policy design can maximize the reach of government programs, with a special focus on Medicare and Medicaid.
