Rebecca Bromley-Dulfano is an MD/PhD student pursuing her medical degree at Stanford University School of Medicine and her PhD at Harvard University. She graduated from Stanford in 2018 with a BS degree with honors and coterminal MS degree in Biology. Prior to beginning graduate school, she gained exposure to health policy through a public service fellowship at a community health center in East Palo Alto, CA, where she contributed to initiatives focused on integrating medical and dental care. During medical school, she collaborated with the Santa Clara County Department of Public Health and the Office of Sustainability on various projects, including helping to develop a climate health equity and vulnerability assessment and conducting county-wide Community-Based Organization ecosystem mapping for climate resilience planning. Her previous research has covered a range of topics including Covid-19 epidemiology, healthcare sustainability, and understanding the tradeoffs involved with preventative health screenings. Her current research is focused on strategies for addressing social determinants of health through healthcare systems and addressing disparities in access to equitable care in the US.
