PhD Candidate in Health Policy (G3, Management)

Celia Stafford received a B.A. from Emory University in 2017 and an M.P.H. with a concentration in Biostatistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020. Celia is currently a part time research associate at the College of Business at the University of Central Florida, and an independent consultant for Prefect Technologies, a tech startup based in DC. Both during, and for a year following her graduate education at UNC, she served as primary statistician on an FDA funded system dynamics model of the opioid crisis through Harvard Medical School. Her prior work experiences have included positions at the FDA, Quintiles (now IQVIA), Syneos Health, and Forcepoint. Celia’s current research interests focus on the impact that health technologies (specifically EHR) can and will have on provider and payer behavior, cost, and patient outcomes.
