Hanxuan (Astrid) Yu

Astrid Yu earned her B.S. in Psychology from Beijing Normal University in 2021 and her M.Ed. in Quantitative Methods from Vanderbilt University in 2022. After graduation, Astrid worked as a research analyst at the Vanderbilt Department of Health Policy. Under the guidance of Dr. Ashley Leech, Dr. Jinyi Zhu, and Dr. John Graves, she contributed to modeling conditions such as substance use disorder and cardiovascular disease. Astrid's research interests include simulation modeling and cost-effectiveness analysis of prevention and treatment strategies for various diseases. She is also dedicated to improving the methodology and dissemination of decision sciences.
