Isabella Impalli

PhD Candidate in Health Policy (G2, Decision Sciences)

 

Isabella Impalli graduated from Princeton University in 2023 with a BSE in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a certificate in Humanistic Studies. Isabella then spent two years as a Research Analyst at the One Health Trust (OHT), where she was advised by Dr. Ramanan Laxminarayan. At OHT, her work focused on the intersection of vaccine policy and antimicrobial resistance worldwide, and she coauthored the 2024 Lancet Series on Sustainable Access to Effective Antibiotics. Isabella’s research has been published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B, and PLOS Computational Biology. At Harvard, Isabella focuses on applications of decision and game theory to health policy issues, particularly the optimization of infectious disease mitigation policies in resource-constrained areas. Isabella’s graduate work is supported by the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program.
