Isabella Impalli
Isabella Impalli graduated from Princeton University in 2023 with a BSE in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a certificate in Humanistic Studies. After graduating, Isabella spent two years as a Research Analyst at the One Health Trust (OHT), advised by Dr. Ramanan Laxminarayan. At OHT, Isabella's work focused on the intersection of vaccine policy and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) around the globe. She was a coauthor of the 2024 Lancet Series on Sustainable Access to Effective Antibiotics, which provided an evidence base for health policy priority-setting in preparation for the United Nations High-Level Meeting on AMR held that same year. At OHT, Isabella also worked under the guidance of Dr. Eili Klein and Dr. Erta Kalanxhi, and her work has been published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, PLOS Computational Biology, and the South African Medical Journal. At Harvard, Isabella hopes to balance decision science methods research with continued work that can shape cost-effective vaccine policy and disease surveillance in resource-constrained areas.
