Janice Jhang

PhD Candidate in Health Policy (G2, Decision Sciences)

Janice Jhang received her BS in Policy Analysis and Management in 2019 from Cornell University, where she was a Meinig Family Cornell National Scholar and a Tanner Dean’s Scholar. She graduated from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2024 with an MPH in Health Policy. Prior to graduate school, Janice was a strategy consultant at IQVIA (QuintilesIMS) conducting quantitative analyses using claims data to address a wide range of policy and market access questions for pharmaceutical and biotech companies. At Harvard, she is a research assistant and an educational innovation scholar at the Center for Health Decision Science. Her research interests include methods to incorporate equity into health economic evaluation, the emerging therapeutic and diagnostic landscape for Alzheimer’s disease, and US prescription drug policy. In the long term, Janice hopes to pursue a career in academic research informing decisions regarding how the US should value, cover, and pay for novel health technologies, particularly for neurodegenerative diseases.
