Jessica Preston Harvey graduated from the University of Virginia in 2018 with a BS in Biomedical Engineering and a Masters of Public Health. Following graduation, Jessica worked as a research analyst at Advisory Board (now part of Optum / UnitedHealth Group) supporting research for health system pharmacy leaders and other industry stakeholders, and then as a consultant for IQVIA working primarily with patient advocacy groups on their registry data strategies. Jessica is interested in investigating methods to assess the value of new drugs and devices, and in exploring how our evolving understanding of a treatment’s value can and should impact our regulatory assessments, post-approval evidence requirements, pricing, access, and payment models.
