Kirsten Gallant earned a BA in Economics with a subsidiary in Mathematics and Statistics from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia. She began her career at the Bank of Canada as a Research Assistant in the Financial Stability Department, where she supported regulatory policy initiatives and helped advance the Bank’s early efforts in climate-related risk analysis and management.
After completing an MSc in International Health Policy (Health Economics) at the London School of Economics and Political Science, she spent three years at Analysis Group contributing to a wide range of epidemiology and health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) projects. Her experience spans statistical and economic modeling, patient- and physician-reported outcomes research, real-world data analyses using claims and electronic health records, and discrete choice experiments.
Kirsten’s current research interests center on applying advanced quantitative methods to evaluate the effectiveness, affordability, and broader value of emerging health technologies and public health interventions. She is particularly interested in ensuring that these solutions align with patient priorities and perform well in real-world settings.
