Lauren Gullett

PhD Candidate in Health Policy (G3, Political Analysis)

Lauren Gullett received her MS in Epidemiology from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2024 and her BS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020. Prior to graduate school, Lauren worked as a postbaccalaureate research fellow at National Institutes of Health where she led and supported projects related to socioenvironmental determinants of mental and cardiometabolic health outcomes and racial/ethnic health disparities. Lauren is interested in how social and health policies shape reproductive health and health care throughout the life course, with a particular focus on racial equity. She is also interested in how different political institutions, like federalism and the media, shape how people perceive and experience health and health care.
