Prianca Padmanabhan
Prianca Padmanabhan graduated from New York University in 2018 with a BA in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science. After working in industry for a few years, she received an MS in Applied Statistics from NYU in 2022. After graduating, Prianca joined the NYU Grossman School of Medicine as a senior data scientist working with Dr. Sunita Desai on health economics and health policy research. She has contributed to research exploring policies and incentives in the health care delivery system and specifically impacts on provider behavior and safety net populations. Her work has been published in the Journal of Health Economics and Health Services Research. Prianca’s research interests include safety net policy, causal inference methods and the role of market dynamics and structures in shaping payer, provider and patient behaviors in health care delivery and pharmaceutical contexts.
