Rebecca Bromley-Dulfano

PhD Candidate in Health Policy (G2, Methods for Policy Research)

Rebecca Bromley-Dulfano is an MD/PhD student pursuing her medical degree at Stanford University School of Medicine and her PhD at Harvard University. She graduated from Stanford in 2018 with a BS degree with honors and coterminal MS degree in Biology. Prior to beginning graduate school, she gained exposure to health policy through a public service fellowship at a Federally Qualified Health Center in East Palo Alto, CA, where she contributed to initiatives focusing on integrating medical and dental care and improving community oral health. During medical school, she collaborated with the Santa Clara County Department of Public Health and Office of Sustainability on various projects, including helping to develop a climate health equity and vulnerability assessment and conducting county-wide Community-Based Organization ecosystem mapping for community resilience planning. Her previous research has covered a range of topics including healthcare sustainability, workplace health programs, and the tradeoffs involved in public and preventative health interventions. Her current research is focused on strategies for addressing social determinants of health through healthcare systems and eliminating disparities in access to healthcare in the US.
