As a research professional at the University of Chicago (working for Professors Dmitri Koustas and Yana Gallen), she worked on projects using American tax data to understand the relationships between gender/family behavior, health insurance access, and employment.  Reigne was awarded the National Science Foundation's Graduate Research Fellowship in 2022.
