Tai Dinger

PhD Candidate in Health Policy (G5, Decision Sciences)

Tai Dinger is a student in the Harvard JD-PhD program. He graduated from Stanford University in 2019 with a B.S. in Biology and an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering. During his time at Stanford, Tai researched protein-folding in ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) and developed models to improve patient flow at Stanford Children’s Hospital. After graduating from Stanford, Tai worked as an engineer at Epic Systems where he focused on leveraging insurance claims data for population health. 

At Harvard, Tai is advised by Jim Hammitt and explores the intersections of law, economics, and health policy. Tai’s research interests include insurance design, disease modeling, and quasi-experimental methods for policy analysis. Tai aims to leverage his expertise to influence health policy and legal practices surrounding healthcare in the US.
